Thought I'd chime in today cause I felt sorry for Dave.

Dave, Go back in....NIU classes are cancelled until noon today! (You probably know that by now though.)

Crystal, wish I could wear mittens and still do my job. There is ice forming on the frame and walls around the window in my office.

Everyone try to stay warm today. Just repeat...it's gonna be warmer tomorrow.....

I am taking one class at Kishwaukee. It sure helps the pocket book to take classes there instead of NIU.


I have two at Kish, one online at NIU and 2 room classes at NIU.  15 credits total.

Only 2 short years to go.

Good morning Ilse and the rest of my IL family, Sorry I have not been posting much this past week I have read some but just been tired and just don't feel like sitting at the pouter much, I am feeling some better now getting all the water out of me, had to take water pills to do that, I came home from the hospital up 9 lbs I would have thought having the 13 lbs of skin and fat taken off I would have weight less  but that did not happen maybe I still have a lot of water, I know that I am still very swollen so maybe when that goes down so will the scale,
I am not going out again today just too cold for me, it is - 20 here this morning, it is even too cold for the dogs My older dog can not take this cold she is out only to potty and can not get back in the house it is like she freezes up that fast, so we have to really watch her,

Im so glad to see you back here!  Im glad that some of the water has come off, and that you are up and about.  You are my hero and I hope to have the same surgery when I am at your point.

I still can not get that airbus in the water out of my mind.  I tell ya, I don't miss flying w/ American at all!  I steped on the scale and I'm up 3 pounds.  I'm a little dissapointed.  I have all the kids again today because schools canceled.  I did crafts w/ the kids yesterday, so I don't know what will be on the agenda today.  I'm felling very lazy today.  I have a pampered chief party to go to tonight.  I will say that I'm looking forward to that, just to get out of the house.  Please pray for the familys on the US Airways flight and the crew!!!

Not much going on today...just house cleaning. I will only venture outside to start my car this morning. I just want to thank everyone for all the prayers this past week or so. I will continue to keep all of you in mine.

I am at wor****il 2 today.  Then, I need to pick up a few things and get to the bank to talk about refinancing the house.  We can save about 2 percentage points, and that is a GOOD thing.

It took longer for my car to warm up this morning, and I saw a SUV loose control and hit a bridge on my way in on 20.  We had some ground fog and it seems that it is so cold that the vapor is freezing on contact.  My co-worker just came in and told me that if you look in the bright sun, you can see ice crystals floating in the air.

Tomorrow, the boys are going to Dixon all day for a Merit Badge thing and tomorrow evening, I need to bring Liv into Rockford for a lock-in.  I am half considering staying in town so that I don't have to make the long drive on Sunday morning to pick her up at 7.  That would be too much like a work day.

While prayers are being said, please pray for my nephew in AZ who wa**** by a car going 50 mph while trying to cross a busy highway on foot.  He is in ICU with multiple injuries at this time.

I am thinking of you all and sending out good thoughts to everyone.

Well the day has come when they are going to do the I-131 for my thyroid cancer. The numbers are at the sweet spot as theysay.
so Ill be in the hospital for 3 to 6 days.
Ill try to boot up my laptop and see if i can use their wireless system. Not sure as my wireles is not working to well.

I will keep you in my prayers, especially while you are undergoing your treatment in the next week.  Stay strong, and think positively and beat this thing!  I will look you up on facebook and add you on.  I hope your wireless works and that can keep you busy while you are in the hospital.

Good Morning Everyone!
Things are good here - cold, like everyone said, but ok with my scarf and space heater!  My office gets so cold in the winter and hot in the summer.  It's awful.

I finally figured out that taking vitmins on an empty stomach makes me nauceous.  I couldn't figure it out, but then a co-worker said that they make her sick when she tries to do that, so I have to remember to not take them that way!

Not much planned this weekend.  I think I might have the energy to clean the house (finally) so I hope to get that done...not fun, but I need to. 

I didn't walk yesterday - I have to today.  I just can't seem to become a morning person.  Usually I get up at the last minute but I have foudn that waiting that long to get something in me makes me sick and I want to faint.

Any advise on how to start getting up early to put something in my stomach and get my walk done?  I wake up at 7 now and am showered and to work by 8...
